Why talk politics?

A meaningless world engenders fear.

The most important thing to understand is that the change is happening already. It is happening without our intervention; it is happening outside of our control. Everywhere, people are remembering what its like to be truly human. Not "hu-machine", which operates in a system of 1's and 0's, right or wrong, red or blue - but human being. We are the creators of our world, whether we accept it or not. This is what we truly are.

The time has come to build a bridge. Instead of convincing ourselves that it's one against the other, justice against corruption, right against wrong - this is the time when the-people-came-together. This is when we understand that we are responsible for all of it. It is insane to try and blame anyone else for our problems - we are responsible for all of it.

And you know what? It's okay. Everything is going to be absolutely fine becuase all we have to do change the world is to get out of its way. Stop beating this broken system to death and let the People speak. Let the People do. Our collective consciousness is bursting to make this shift so let's allow it to happen. Don't worry, don't be afraid. Trust us - we all want to be free. We all want to be loved. We all want to be happy.

Our nation was founded on inspired principles. We are already the community we want to be - but for some reason, we don't believe it. We don't believe in ourselves enough to expect to be a part of government - we are fine raging as nameless voters who more often than not are considered an afterthought.

The people must standUP, speakOUT and beFREE to become the dream we all foster in our hearts. It is time to take back the reigns which steers our lives. Local government exists for the interests of the People, not for the political powers nor the business profiteers.

Legislators: Open up our commitee meetings. Answer our questions. We have come home.

Why StandUP?

I invented the world I see.

I am the standUP American. I am like you - in fact, I AM you - since we are all participating in this beautiful cosmic collective consciousness together. We are all different iterations of the same thing: forgetful human remembering. We are remembering how to love each other; we have forgotten how to be free.

Our local government needs us, this is why we standUP. It might tell us to sit down, and it might tell us to shut up - but don't be mad at government. Our representatives are lost in a system bought and paid for - half of them don't even realize what is really going on. Poor government, trying to fix a problem with a machine that doesn't even work. 

This is not about voting or about protesting. This is not about electing someone else into office. This is about changing our minds.
